Earth system science
Carrying out research and development to improve the Earth system components of our climate models and applying these models to inform climate mitigation policies.
Areas of work
- Development of models for the land surface, terrestrial ecosystems, atmospheric aerosols and atmospheric chemistry;
- Provision of climate projections with our Earth System model;
- Understanding of interactions in the Earth System and the role of biogeochemical feedbacks in future climate projections.
