Rather cloudy with rain at times.
Today:
Some bright spells for Caithness and around Inverness, but generally cloudy with patchy rain this morning before more persistent rain, occasionally heavy in west, spreads southeast this afternoon. Brighter from northwest later. Breezy, with southerly coastal gales in west Maximum temperature 17 °C.
Tonight:
Cloud and rain in the south soon clearing then a mix of clear spells and blustery showers, most frequent in west, this evening and overnight. Occasionally strong southwesterly winds. Minimum temperature 9 °C.
Sunday:
A bright day with a mix of sunny spells and initially blustery showers, the showers becoming more frequent for a time around the middle of the day before easing later. Maximum temperature 16 °C.
Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:
Mainly dry with some good spells of increasingly warm sunshine through into mid-week, however the Western Isles and far NW look cloudier at times with a few spots of rain.
